Risotto is so incredibly easy to make once you’ve gotten the hang of it.

All you really have to do is:

  • without pre-cooking the rice, bake the risotto rice in some oil until it gets a bit white-ish looking (less transparent)
  • then, slowly start ladling in / adding scoops of your favorite broth or soup. It needs to be sufficiently watery/broth-like for it to soak into the rice properly, but other than that you can use basically any soup.
  • Wait until the soup starts cooking and soaks a bit into the rice.
  • simply keep adding more soup and boiling it for about 15 minutes. This takes a while but you end up with very delicious soaked rice that is absolutely worth the wait!
